Foam 35 is the company’s third Foam Unit dating back to 1978 providing a unique capability for emergency response to Haverford Township, and surrounding communities. Foam 35 is the ONLY municipal Foam Unit of its kind in Delaware County. It has the ability to respond to various hazardous material incidents such as overturned tankers, and various leaks from saddle tanks on tractor trailers to home heating oil spills. Foam 35 has a full compliment of response equipment that are normally found on industrial refineries, but also equipment to battle structural house fires like Engine 35. Foam 35 runs in tandem with Spill 35 and is able to respond anywhere requested within minutes whereas most units require trailering, or specialized transport.
